Rahul Gandhi led delegation hands over 20 million signature to President against farm laws;Priyanka & others taken into custody

Lending support to agitating Farmers in black and white, A congress delegation led by Rahul Gandhi today handed over a memorandum, signed by 20 million people, to President Ramnath Kovind for the repeal of the newly enacted farm legislation. Some other Congress leaders and workers, including Priyanka Gandhi, were taken into custody en route to the Rashtrapati Bhavan “in want of the formal permission”.
They were taken to the Mandir Marg police station. Details of others who have been taken into police custody to be ascertained.
“We are living in a democracy and these are elected MPs. They have the right to meet the Presidustofy are yet to ent and they should be allowed. What is the problem with that? The government is not ready to listen to the voices of lakhs of farmers camping at borders,” Priyanka Gandhi said. “Any dissent against this government is classified as having elements of terror. We are undertaking this march to voice our support for the farmers,” she added.
