AP CM laid Foundation Stone for multi speciality hospital to kidney patients

Srikakulam, Sep 6  (Newsabode) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy today laid the Foundation stone for construction of a multi-specialty hospital and research center in Palasa, 70 km from here, for treatment of kidney patients of the Uddanam region.

Over 5,000 patients died of kidney disease in the last few years and there are over 15,000 persons suffering from it in seven manuals of the region.

The government, which is expected to spend Rs.250 crore for construction of the hospital, released  Rs.50 crore.

Mr. Reddy participated in Several programs, besides launching a  New pilot project aimed at supplying fine variety Rice Rs. 2. to white ration cardholders.
