Union Home Minister Amit Shah admitted to AIIMS late last night.
Mr Shah was earlier discharged from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi on August 31.
Initially , there was no official communication about this development but later, the Hospital has put out a statement , “Home Minister Amit Shah was discharged from AIIMS after post-COVID care on August 30. As per advice given at discharge, he has now been admitted for a complete medical checkup before the parliament session for 1-2 days,” said the statement by Chairperson, AIIMS Media & Protocol Division.
He was admitted a day before the parliament session that begins tomorrow.
Last time he had tweeted: “On the initial symptoms of the corona, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine, but I am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. I request that all of you who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done.”, Union Home minister Amit Shah had tweeted in the first week of August.
Later on he was again admitted for the post COVID care and was discharged after a few days.
